I. Content and Publication Type
The published articles are academic research papers in English, and their topics include the magnetic theory, magnetic materials and their properties, magnetic recording materials and technology, spin electronics, measurements and applications, and other relevant topics.
The papers in the Journal of Magnetics are classified into three categories; academic research articles, academic review articles, and technical reviews.

II. Research and Publication Ethics
For the policies on the research and publication ethics not stated in this instructions, International standards for editors and authors (http://publicationethics.org/international-standards-editors-and-authors) can be applied. When the journal faces suspected cases of research and publication misconduct such as redundant (duplicate) publication, plagiarism, or fabricated data, changes in authorship, an undisclosed conflict of interest, ethical problems with a submitted manuscript,
a reviewer who has appropriated an author’s idea or data, complaints against editors, and so on, the resolution process will follow the flowchart provided by the COPE (http://publication-ethics.org/resources/flowcharts). The discussion and decision on the suspected cases are carried out by the Editorial Board.

III. Submission of Papers
Manuscript and revised manuscript should be submitted online at the homepage (http://www.jmagnetics.org) with copyright transfer form and author’'s check list in

the form of a single file. The file should be written by using MS Word for IBM compatible PCs. If additional questions arise, feel free to contact the Editorial office (e-mail: komag@unitel.co.kr, Tel: +82-2-3452-7363, Fax: +82-2-3452-7366).

Submission of a paper will be taken to imply that it represents original work not previously published, and that it is not being considered elsewhere for publication.

Upon acceptance of a paper, the author(s) should be aware that the Korean Magnetics Society will hold the copyright of the paper.

IV. Peer Review
All manuscripts considered for publication are subject to peer review and the established technical and editorial standards.Every manuscript is reviewed by two peer reviewers.Third reviewer is additionally selected if the reject is suggested by one’'s reviewer.

V. Final Manuscripts and Proofs
After the acceptance of the paper, author(s) are requested to submit an electronic file containing the final version of the paper. Authors will receive page proofs (including figures) by e-mail or FAX for correction, which must be returned to the publisher within two days of receipt. Only typographical errors may be corrected.

VI. Charges
If the manuscript is accepted for publication, publication charge of Korean Won 250,000 normally from 1 to 5 journal pages should be paid by the corresponding author before printing. And for more than 5 journal pages there will be additional page charge of Korean Won 10,000 per page.
